Kemmanagundi is around 250 kms from Bangalore requiring around 6 hours to travel. It is advisable to travel on your own. The route to be taken is Bangalore to Birur on the Shimoga route and then take deviation to lingadahalli, krishnapura and then to ballavara. This resort is exactly 8 kms before the kemmanagundi peak.
